Volunteering is a great way to enjoy the equine activities at the club. You do not need to be a member to be a part of the activities.
Volunteer Hours can be done in numerous ways at the club:
Opening Day (usually the 2nd week of May)
Closing Day (usually the 2nd week of October)
Open Horse Shows
Open Schooling Hunter Shows
Combined Tests
Dressage Shows
Hunter Show
Game Shows
Clinics
Jobs needed for the above shows: secretary, announcer, paddock person, ring crew, rope off parking area, passing out ribbons, timers, dressage scribes, bit check, show jumping scribes, kitchen duty, set up, tear down, trash removal.
Jobs needed on grounds: Mowing, weed eating, painting, stall/building maintenance, outhouse cleaning (hose down prior to show, stock toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer (supplies purchased by EHSC).
